Make a Splash with Us: Supporting the Langley Flippers

The Langley Flippers Swim Club thrives on more than just morning swims! We rely on the incredible support of our swim families to keep our programs running strong and registration fees affordable.

As a non-profit organization, fundraising and volunteering are the cornerstones that allow us to offer high-quality swim coaching for all ages and abilities.

Here’s why your involvement matters:

  • Affordable Fees: Fundraising helps us cover essential costs like equipment, competition fees, and even fun team-building events. This ensures everyone has the opportunity to experience the joys of swimming without breaking the bank.

  • Stronger Together: From the executive board to meet day volunteers, there are countless ways to contribute. Your time and effort create a supportive environment where both swimmers and the club can flourish.

Ready to Dive In?

We offer a variety of ways to get involved:

  • Become a volunteer: Share your skills and enthusiasm by joining the board, assisting at swim meets, or lending a hand with fundraising initiatives.

  • Support our fundraising efforts: Participate in our bottle drive at Return-It, mention the Langley Flippers at Langley Liquor Warehouse, or even join us for a fun Pub Night!

By working together, we can create a winning season for every Flipper. Let’s make a splash, not just in the pool, but for the entire swim community!

Current Fundraisers

As a non-profit club we strive to keep fees as low as possible, but of course as with any sport or club there is an element of fundraising to maintain it. Collection of these fees goes towards a variety of necessities such as equipment, meet costs incurred, team building events etc.

Fundraising commitment is paid in the form of a cheque or credit card authorization form at the beginning of the season and will only be processed at the end of the season if your fundraising minimum requirement has not been met. Your child will not be permitted to enter the water until the cheque or credit card authorization form is received. You will have the entire season to raise your deposit amount through various fundraising opportunities.

Volunteering commitment is a separate deposit and is paid in the form of a cheque or credit card authorization form at the beginning of the season and will only be processed at the end of the season if your Volunteering minimum requirement has not been met. Your child will not be permitted to enter the water until the cheque or credit card authorization form is received. You will have the entire season to work towards your volunteer hours. This includes timing or officiating at swim meets and the multiple opportunities available at our home meet. If your hours are not completed in full, your deposit will be processed.
